Training Levels:
A. For students having mastered about 2000 words (Intermediate level one)
B. For students having mastered about 3000 words (Intermediate level two)
Teaching Objectives:
A. For students of category A, after they conclude one school-year’s study and acquire the required credit points, they are supposed to have a vocabulary of 4500 words or so and finish learning the grammar and lexical usage of the intermediate phase.
B. For students of category B, after they conclude one school-year’s study and acquire the required credit points, they are supposed to have a vocabulary of 6000 words or so and finish learning the grammar and lexical usage of the intermediate phase and part of the grammar and vocabulary of the advanced phase.
Training Hours:There are two terms in one school-year, each of them will last for 19 weeks, there are 18-20 teaching hours of lectures per week.

Students at intermediate level one will be granted the Certificate of Intermediate Chinese Level after they conclude one school-year’s study and acquire 24 credit points as required.
Students at intermediate level two will be granted the Certificate of Pre-advanced Chinese Level after they conclude one school-year’s study and acquire 24 credit points as required.
