Beijing Language and Culture University Alumni Association(BLCUAA)was establishedon June 20, 2012,before the 50th anniversary of Beijing Language and Culture University. On November 19, 2013, the Ministry of Civil Affairs issued a reply and decided to approve the establishment and registration of the Alumni Association of Beijing Language and Culture University.Examined and approved by the Ministry ofEducationand registered by the Ministry ofCivilAffairs of thePeople’s Republic of China, ourAlumni Associationis a joint, national and non-profit social organizationwith legal personality, which is voluntarily initiatedby alumni of Beijing Language and Culture University.

The purpose of theAlumniAssociation is to strengthen the links between alumni,and between alumni andthealma mater,then to unite,cooperate and develop friendship. Through the Alumni Association, we hope toexpand the influence of Beijing Language and Culture Universityat home and abroad.All alumni caninherit and carry forward the fine traditions of the alma mater,thencontribute to the construction and development of Beijing Language and Culture University. Moreover, we could devote ourselves to the prosperity and strength of our country and the construction of a harmonious world.

Scope of business:

1、Contact alumni at home and abroad, and strengthen the contacts and exchanges between alumni,and between alumni and the alma mater;

2、Promote the cooperation and exchange between alumni andthealma mater in education, scientific research and culturetosupport the construction and development ofthealma mater;

3、Organizerecreational activities to provide services to alumni withinourcapabilities;

4、Develop and utilize alumni resources, expand the influence of Beijing Language and Culture University, and promote enrollment and employment;

5、Edit and print alumni publications; Build and maintain alumni network.

The Alumni Association has a Council, which is composed of member representatives and is the executive body of the member congress.Wehas several Honorary Presidents, one president and several vice presidents. The Council has a secretariat, which is handled by the alumni work office. TheSecretariat ofourAlumni Association hasvarious service carriers, such as Chinese and English publications, alumni network, WeChatofficialaccounts,Sina micro-blog, Headline, Tiktok, andso on.
