The 3rd International Symposium on Language Resources and Intelligence is scheduled to be held in Beijing on Dec 14, 2019 by the Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Language Resources (ACLR) of Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU). Experts and scholars in related fields at home and abroad will be brought together to discuss issues on the compilation of theGuide to Languages of Countriesand world language life.

In 2019, ACLR started the compilation of theGuide to Languages of Countries.The book series will mainly introduce the basic status of languages, language policies and planning, language education, language life of countries or regions and international organizations. With a plan of 150 volumes publication, the series is expected to help understand the basic situation of the world languages, provide research resources for the academic community, as well as offer references on the life in different countries. It is the first time to compile this kind of series in China, and perhaps even in the world, so it calls for the joint efforts of scholars at home and abroad. We welcome all the scholars and researchers in related fields contribute to the series.

Speakers will be invited to make presentations. Scholars, researchers and students at home and abroad are welcomed to sign up for the Symposium.

VI.Expenses

There is no registration fee for this Symposium. We will cover the travel expenses and accommodation for the invited speakers. Participants registering for the Symposium will be responsible for their meals and transportation fees by themselves.
