CCSL's Graduate Student Association held an "Academic Experience Sharing Salon" Event

On the evening of September 17, CCSL's Graduate Student Association held an "Academic Experience Sharing Salon" event. The event specially invited two researchers from CCSL, Associate Prfessor. Li Le and Associate Prfessor. Lu Lingxi as the guests. A total of more than 50 graduate students watched the event online or offline.



Associate Prfessor. Lu Lingxi shared with the fresh graduate students the problems and experiences that may be encountered in each stage of the experimental research, such as the literature reading and accumulation before the start of the research, how to find problems during the research process, and what details should be paid attention to in the writing of the thesis, etc. She recommended different methods and platforms for finding and summarizing literature, and suggested that students to read more literature, thereby maintaining research enthusiasm and self-confidence through deep thinking, and let their study life enter a virtuous circle.




Associate Prfessor. Li Le discussed different aspects of postgraduates' study and life, such as study planning, time arrangement, and future plans. He emphasized the importance of reading literature and independent study for graduate students, and suggested that students should seriously consider their own future development, and evaluate their choices for further study or work from various aspects. Dr. Li Le also shared his own experience on how to relieve the pressure of study, and pointed out that everyone should find a way of decompression that suits him.




In the final Q&A session, the graduate students raised their confusions on how to read and screen literature, how to regulate negative emotions, and how to communicate with their supervisors about academic issues. The two guests also provided practical and effective suggestions based on their own experiences.




This activity helped new graduate students to have a clearer understanding of how to carry out study and academic research, and also allowed graduate students to have a clearer understanding of their three-year study and life. All the participants expressed that they benefited a lot.
