On the evening of September 25, 2021,the meeting of all members from AIU was held ceremoniously. Attending the conference were Mr. Guo Yuxin from the Department of International Student Affairs of Beijing Language and Culture University, as well as all AIUers.
PART ONE
At the beginning of the meeting, the chairman and the heads of various departments spoke in turn, explaining the overall work and specific tasks of the department. Also, every new member of each department were introduced one by one
PART TWO
Next part is the exciting game :“I have but you don’t” gave everyone a chance to know each other better and clearly feel the unnoticed talents in AIU; “You pose, I guess” emphasized the importance of departmental cooperation and enhanced the team cohesiveness; “Guangsanyuan”(One of us starts to write a title, such as "what's in the zoo", and the others have to say something related to the zoo. If someone doesn't say the corresponding thing, or the thing they say repeats with the person in front, he or she will be eliminated) was even more lively through different kinds of activities such as singing, dancing,dactylophasia and tongue flicking……Many splendid performances were presented.
PART THREE
In the lively atmosphere, Mr. Guo came to the stage to speak, who attached great importance to the purpose of AIU: international discussion and understanding. Let more international students communicate with each other in China, and allow multiculturalism to collide in the smallUnited Nations, and promote people-to-people bonds and cultural integration. Let the world understand China, let China go to the world Mr. Guo put forward his ardent expectation for the members of AIU.
The meeting came to an end with the singing of everyone. The little lights waved in everyone's hands gradually faded into the vast night, but the youth’s passion and romance belonging to their own remains in each other's hearts forever
We come from all over the world, meeting in the "Little United Nations", getting and knowing each other with students home and abroad in the big family of AIU. I hope that in the coming year, we can make joint efforts, remain true to our original aspiration of international understanding, devote ourselves to the cultural construction among China and foreign countries with full enthusiasm, and create our own glory.
