In order to enhance the awareness of national security among contemporary university students, theDepartment ofLinguistics has actively carried out a series of activitieson“4•15NationalSecurityEducationDay”. Due to the fact that at present nationwide is still in the special period of against coronavirus, the activities are held in the form of online mainly. It consists of two parts. First, students are encouraged to take part in the activity of“Attending the Same One NationalSecurityEducation Class”, watch and study the“2020 National Security Education Day University OpenClass”, and have an online discussion after learning. Second, students are encouraged to participate in the“2020National Security Education Knowledge Contest for University Students”activity and answer questions online.

The students all participatedactively in the activity, and the feedback was good. The details are as follows.

All the 15 undergraduates from the departmentparticipated in the activity, and the students responded enthusiastically. They learned relevant knowledge of national security during the activity. The awareness of national security has been enhanced, and the expected good effects of the activities have been achieved.
