Since the founding of the university, BLCU has trained about 70,000 domestic students and 220,000 international students from 184 countries and regions, who have a profound knowledge of the Chinese language, society and culture. Our alumni are working now in every part of the world. Among them are statesmen like some Premier and Speaker of the House, diplomats like some ambassador, envoy and counselor to China as well as famous scholars and business leaders. What’s more important, many of them have become the pillars of international Chinese education and goodwill messengers, committed to the cultural exchanges between China and the world.
