4.Aim and Scale:

The purpose is to cultivate national foreign affairs talented person. To take serving the national development and international strategy as our mission, and commit to using professional compound foreign language teaching mode, to cultivate good political quality, master the solid specialized knowledge of international political theory and international relations, foreign language skills, have strong policy analysis and practice ability, team work spirit and innovation consciousness of internationalization, compound and applied talents. At the same time, it aims to cultivate students who are familiar with China's national conditions, have solid professional knowledge of Chinese diplomacy and international relations, are fluent in Chinese language and can adapt to the needs of foreign affairs, news media, economic and trade culture, international studies and other institutions of relevant countries.

5.Program Structure:

(I) Course credits: 151credits;Among them, 35 credits are compulsory public courses, 12 credits are general courses, 32credits are compulsory foreign language courses; 45 are professional compulsory courses, 26 credits are professional elective courses;

(2) Total class hours: 2657class hours;

(3) Total weeks of teaching: 127 weeks;

(4) Graduation thesis: 7 weeks, 4 credits;

(5) Graduation thesis schedule: from the end of semester 7 to the end of May of semester 8.

6.Requirements for graduation:

Students who have been formally admitted to the universityand haveobtainedcorresponding credits, completedprofessional practice, and on schedule to attend the graduation thesis or other form of graduation works, tested and approved by the department on comprehensive appraisal to the students in our school graduation requirements,areallowed tograduate.
